Here's how the Bible says you can know you're going to Heaven when you die . . .
1. Recognize that you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23
2. Realize that because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
3. Realize that God loved you so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to become sin for you and die in your place.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
4. Call upon the Lord today, and you will be saved.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
5. The sinner's prayer.
"Lord God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus paid the penalty for my sins when He died on the cross. Please forgive me for all my sin. I accept this wonderful gift of salvation and thank You that I will be with You in Heaven when I die. In Jesus' name, Amen."
